The Miriam-Webster dictionary defines a habit as a behavior pattern acquired by frequent repetition or physiologic exposure that shows itself in regularity or increased facility of performance; an acquired mode of behavior that has become nearly or completely involuntary; a manner of conducting oneself.
If we examine our lives, how many habits do we have? If you really think about it, it can become mind boggling. I guess, depending on how old you are, you have a lifetime of acquired habits that have been formed by conditioning. The condition of your childhood, the condition of your health, the condition of your socio-economic surroundings, the condition of your level of education, etc.. The things and people that are around us impact us. The repetitive things are the things that eventually become habits with us.
But your iniquities have separated you from your God; your sins have hidden His face from you, so that He will not hear. (Isaiah 59:2) NIV
Do you have iniquities that have come between you and God? If you don’t know you may want to start with the definition of iniquity. It is a noun, meaning immoral or grossly unfair behavior. The Bible uses this word to indicate a level of disobedience to God which is categorized as sin.

Most of us don’t like to admit that we are wrong, that we have done something wrong or even that what we thought was wrong. We suffer from this thing called human pride. It’s a sneaky little thing that runs around in the best camouflage attire on the market.
